Shaftsbury man sought on multiple felony charges

1 min read

SHAFTSBURY — The Vermont State Police issued a public appeal Wednesday for help in finding Todd A. Thompson, a 48-year-old Shaftsbury resident, wanted on six felony charges including aggravated sexual assault.

Thompson, who has been at large since a late December incident, also faces charges of aggravated stalking with a deadly weapon and aggravated first-degree domestic assault.

Efforts by local authorities to apprehend him have been unsuccessful.

With known connections in Shaftsbury, Bennington, and the White Creek area in New York, Thompson’s current location remains a mystery, prompting the call for community assistance.

State Police ask anyone with knowledge of Thompson’s whereabouts to contact the Shaftsbury Barracks at 802-442-5421.
