Hampton Falls mailboxes vandalized, police seek information

HAMPTON FALLS — Several mailboxes in Hampton Falls were found smashed Saturday morning in what appears to be a string of vandalism.

Police are investigating after the damaged mailboxes were first reported around 9 a.m.

The initial damage seems to have occurred on Kensington Road near Nason Road, with the vandals then moving along to Crank Road and Drinkwater Road.

Additionally, one mailbox on Nason Road was also struck.

The exact time of the vandalism is unclear, but it is believed to have taken place sometime between Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

The Hampton Falls Police Department is asking residents who have suffered similar damages, have video evidence, or any information related to the incident to come forward and contact them at 693-926-4619.

Newfields Police have obtained a witness account describing the suspect’s vehicle as a light-colored hatchback or wagon.

Authorities are hoping to gather more information to identify the individuals responsible for the property damage.
