Williamstown man arrested on warrant during family disturbance call

WILLIAMSTOWN — A family disturbance on Chelsea Road led to the arrest of a Washington man Saturday morning.

Vermont State Police responded to the call at 10:21 a.m. and were informed by EMS personnel of a male fleeing into the woods near the scene.

Troopers pursued the individual and subsequently apprehended him.

The man was identified as Frank Driscoll, 45, a witness to the family altercation.

A background check revealed an active arrest warrant for Driscoll, who was wanted for cocaine possession and driving with a suspended license.

Driscoll was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Northeast Correctional Facility.
