HOOKSETT — An Allenstown woman was arrested on Dec. 21 for aggravated DUI after a hit and run incident that took place in the parking lot of a local gym, according to the Hooksett Police Department.

At approximately 3:15 p.m., Officer Peterson was dispatched to Planet Fitness, located at 1292 Hooksett Road, following reports of a hit and run crash without injury.

The suspect vehicle had initially left the scene but returned before the officer’s arrival.

Upon contacting the driver, identified as 37-year-old Samantha Meehan of Allenstown, Officer Peterson noted an apparent odor of alcohol.

Meehan admitted to consuming alcohol before driving.

Subsequent field sobriety tests were conducted, which Meehan failed, leading to her arrest for DUI.

Meehan was taken to the Hooksett Police Department for processing, where she consented to a breath test.

Her blood alcohol content (BrAC) registered at .30, significantly exceeding the legal limit of .08.

This result elevated the charge to an aggravated DUI.

After booking and processing, Meehan was released to a sober party.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 9 at the 6th Circuit Hooksett District Court.
