Lyndonville man arrested for aggravated assault

LYNDONVILLE — On December 21, at approximately 3:27 p.m., Lyndonville Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 534 Dune Way, resulting in serious bodily injury.

Officers from the Lyndonville Police Department, along with emergency personnel from Lyndon Rescue, arrived at the scene.

One individual was transported to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital for treatment.

Following an investigation, police arrested 37-year-old Christopher Colantuono of Lyndon on charges of aggravated assault with serious bodily injury and domestic assault.

Vermont State Police also provided assistance during the incident.

Colantuono was held at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash or surety bail.

He is scheduled to be arraigned at Caledonia Superior Court on December 23 at 12:30 p.m. The identities of the victims have been withheld.
