LYNDON — A routine patrol led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Peacham man on multiple charges, including driving under the influence of drugs and possession of crack cocaine, Vermont State Police said.
Seth Willard was stopped by troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks near the intersection of Depot Street and High Street on Dec. 21 at 11:20 p.m. after they recognized him and knew he had a criminally suspended driver’s license.
During the traffic stop on High Street, troopers observed signs of impairment and took Willard into custody.
A search incident to the arrest revealed crack cocaine on Willard’s person.
A Vermont State Police K9 unit alerted to the presence of drugs in Willard’s vehicle, which was subsequently seized.
Willard is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on March 10 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges related to the incident.
