BURLINGTON — A multi-agency operation led to the arrest of three Pennsylvania men on charges of fentanyl trafficking and cocaine distribution, officials said Thursday.

The Vermont Drug Task Force, in cooperation with the Vermont State Police, Tactical Services Unit, Williston Barracks, South Burlington Police Department, and the Burlington Police Department, executed search warrants on Dec. 19 at the Anchorage Inn on Dorset Street.

The raids were the result of a months-long investigation into the sale of fentanyl and cocaine base in the Chittenden County area, which involved several controlled drug purchases.

Authorities seized undisclosed amounts of fentanyl and cocaine base from the location.

Michael Rainey, 34, of Bensalem, Kenneth Wright, 33, and Rajib Ingram, 36, both from Philadelphia, face multiple drug-related charges following the sting operation.

Rainey has been charged with fentanyl trafficking and cocaine possession.

Wright and Ingram have been charged with fentanyl trafficking and sale of cocaine, with Ingram facing an additional count of cocaine sale.

The suspects were lodged at North Western Correctional Center on $5,000 bail each.

They are scheduled to be arraigned in Chittenden County Superior Court on Dec. 20 at 10:30 a.m.
