BOSTON — Boston police are seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a fatal collision in Roxbury early Monday morning.
The incident occurred at 5:40 a.m. on Dec. 18 near the intersection of Tremont Street, Malcolm X Boulevard and Columbus Avenue, according to the Boston Police Department.
Detectives from the department’s Fatal Collision Squad described the vehicle as possibly a black Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV.
It was last seen driving on Tremont Street toward the South End and Lower Roxbury areas.
Police did not release details about the victim or the circumstances of the collision.

The police department assured that the identities of anonymous tipsters will be protected.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
