CABOT — A Danville man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on Main Street after Vermont State Police discovered he had two active warrants for his arrest.
At around 3:09 p.m., troopers from the VSP Berlin Barracks were conducting an investigation when they encountered Zachary S. Langmaid, 33, who identified himself upon inquiry.
A subsequent check revealed that Langmaid had outstanding warrants with attached bails of $2,500 and $200.
Langmaid was taken into custody without incident and brought to the VSP Berlin Barracks for processing.
Following the processing, he was transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury.
Details surrounding the reasons for the warrants were not immediately provided.
The court date for Langmaid’s arraignment has yet to be announced.
