ST. ALBANS — A man suspected of a recent robbery has turned himself in to authorities, the St. Albans Police Department announced today.
Bradley J. Lafond, 41, of South Burlington, was identified by police as the suspect in the case.
Lafond surrendered to the South Burlington Police Department and was taken into custody by St. Albans Police Department officers soon after.
Following his surrender, Lafond was lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility.
He is being held on a $5,000 surety bond or cash while awaiting his arraignment, which is scheduled for Dec. 18.
The St. Albans Police Department has provided no further details on the robbery or the circumstances leading to Lafond’s identification as a suspect.
