Southington police seek suspects in $2,300 electronics theft

SOUTHINGTON — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in the theft of approximately $2,300 worth of electronics from BJ’s Wholesale, located at 75 Spring Street.

According to the Southington Police Department, the individuals were captured on surveillance footage taking electronics and loading them into a black SUV, believed to be a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The incident occurred recently, and the suspects are also suspected of being involved in other shoplifting cases in the area.

The vehicle’s Maine registration plate, which was recorded at the scene, was found to be improperly used and did not match the black SUV involved in the crime.

Authorities urge anyone with information on the identity of the suspects to contact Officer S.

The Southington Police Department has assigned case number 2400031865 to this investigation.
