NORTH TROY — A North Troy man was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly burglarizing the village’s municipal building, according to state police.
Darin Farley, 37, was taken into custody after police responded to a report of a break-in at the North Troy Municipal Building at approximately 5:23 a.m. on Dec. 17.
Upon arrival, officers found signs of forced entry and damage to a safe.
Investigations revealed Farley as the suspect.
He was found to be in violation of a court-ordered curfew at the time of the incident.
After further investigation and processing, Farley was also charged with burglary.
Farley was held at the Northern State Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail pending further legal proceedings.
