Middlesex woman faces DUI #3 after single-vehicle crash

MIDDLESEX — A single-vehicle crash on Center Rd led to the arrest of an Underhill woman for her third DUI offense, Vermont State Police reported.

At 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 17, Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to the incident.

Upon arrival, they found 32-year-old Heather R. Patnode, who was identified as the driver of the crashed vehicle.

While interacting with Patnode, troopers observed signs of impairment.

She was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence and was transported to the Montpelier Police Department for processing.

Following the incident, Patnode received a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division.

She was later released pending her court appearance, according to authorities.
