DUMMERSTON — A 40-year-old Jeffersonville woman was arrested Tuesday morning after Vermont State Police discovered she was operating a stolen vehicle and provided false information during the stop.
At around 9:15 a.m., a trooper located the stolen vehicle on Waterman Road and conducted a motor vehicle stop.
The operator, identified as Jillian B. Schultz, was found to have two active arrest warrants.
Schultz was taken into custody and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
Following the arrest, Schultz was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
She was issued a criminal citation to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on Feb. 18 at 8:30 a.m. for charges related to the operation without the owner’s consent, grand larceny, possession of stolen property, and providing false information to police.
