BETHEL — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a New Hampshire man on an outstanding warrant late Tuesday night, Vermont State Police said.

Jeffrey Mullins, 45, of Enfield, NH, approached troopers who were conducting a criminal investigation following a vehicle stop on Route 107.

Upon identifying himself, it was discovered that Mullins had a warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of possession of methamphetamines.

Mullins was taken into custody without incident and has been ordered to appear at the Windsor County Superior Court in Woodstock on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 12:30 p.m.

He was held at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield on a $500 bail.
