BRATTLEBORO — A local woman was taken into custody Monday morning by Vermont State Police on multiple drug-related offenses and for breaching conditions of her release.
At approximately 10:07 a.m. on Dec. 16, troopers located and arrested Courtney L. Stone, 36, of Brattleboro, on Reynolds Drive.
Stone faces charges for possession of heroin, possession of cocaine in excess of 2.5 grams, and violation of conditions of release.
The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant obtained after a traffic stop on Nov. 5.
Stone was apprehended without incident and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
After being processed, Stone was released with a criminal citation.
She is scheduled to appear before the Windham County Superior Court on Jan. 21 at 8:30 a.m.
The Brattleboro Police Department assisted the Vermont State Police in the investigation.
