Richford man cited for disorderly conduct at fire scene

RICHFORD — A local man was cited for disorderly conduct after an incident involving the Richford Fire Department, Vermont State Police reported.

Troopers were called to Eastern Avenue at about 8:07 p.m. Dec. 13 for a report of a male causing a disturbance while firefighters were handling an illegal burn at his residence.

The man, identified as Wayne Daudelin, 59, of Richford, allegedly acted in a disorderly manner during the fire department’s response.

Authorities said the fire was addressed, and the crew left the scene without further issues.

Following the investigation, Daudelin was issued a criminal citation.

He is scheduled to appear in the Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Feb. 3 at 8:30 a.m.
