ELMORE — Vermont State Police and the Lamoille County Special Investigations Unit announced today that Forrest Thomas, 46, of Elmore has been cited for violating the conditions of his release.
Thomas, who had been previously charged with Lewd or Lascivious Conduct with a Child, allegedly breached the conditions set by the court sometime in November.
The specific details of the violation were not disclosed, in keeping with the policies of the Vermont State Police regarding sexual assault and domestic violence cases.
Following the investigation by state police and SIU, Thomas was issued a citation and is scheduled to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court on Jan. 22.
Authorities have not released any further information about the victim or the nature of the violation to protect the identity of the victim.
