Durham police seek help locating missing UNH student

DURHAM — The search for Alexis Garcia, a 24-year-old University of New Hampshire student, continues as Durham Police Department requests the public’s help.

Garcia, described as a 5-foot-9 male with brown hair and eyes, has been missing since Nov. 21.

Efforts to locate Garcia have involved multiple agencies, including the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office, New Hampshire State Police, Fish and Game Department, and Marine Patrol.

According to investigators, he may have been wearing white sneakers, dark pants, and a plaid button-up shirt over a grey or light-colored hooded sweatshirt when he was last seen.

The family of the missing student has recently provided two new photos to aid in his identification.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Garcia’s whereabouts to contact the Durham Police Department.
