Morristown police seek help in locating parolee and accomplice with stolen vehicle

MORRISTOWN — The Morristown Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in tracking down two men involved in the theft of a vehicle and other offenses.

Parolee Kevin Fradette, who had absconded from Vermont Department of Corrections Parole, and his associate, Robert Dragon, are wanted by authorities.

Fradette, a “Thursday Thoughts” informational challenge subject and the police department’s fifth “Wanted Wednesday” contestant, fled on foot during an arrest on March 27 after being apprehended on multiple warrants.

Released prematurely from jail on September 27, Fradette is once again a fugitive, having violated his parole terms and participated in the theft of a local’s vehicle.

Dragon, another individual with a history with the VTDOC, is accused of driving the stolen 2018 Chevrolet 3500 Duramax, black with Vermont registration 321A991.

The truck, reported stolen from Morristown on December 8, was located by police on Griggs Road in Eden on December 10.

Dragon allegedly endangered police officers and community members by driving recklessly and fleeing the scene.

The police department is offering a unique incentive for information leading to the capture of Fradette and Dragon — a choice of prizes including gasoline, gift certificates, groceries, creemees, movie tickets, Police Lego City sets, seasonal Shamrock Shakes, lobster, or a Junior Police Badge.
