BOSTON — Three people face multiple drug and firearm charges after Boston police executed search warrants Monday, recovering several weapons and crystal methamphetamine from a Dorchester residence.
Members of the Boston Police Department’s Drug Control Unit, assisted by the FBI Metro Gang Task Force, arrested William Pritchett, 38, of Dorchester; Michael Hardy, 59, of Mattapan; and Philoma Barrows, 52, of Dorchester at about 9:20 a.m. on Dec. 9, 2024.
Officers initially approached Pritchett on Richfield Street as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
They recovered a loaded .38 Special Revolver from his jacket pocket, police said.
A subsequent search of Pritchett’s Rock Terrace apartment yielded a stolen AK-47 style rifle with a 50-round drum magazine containing 11 rounds, a Taurus firearm, a magazine with 29 rounds of ammunition, and 73 grams of crystal methamphetamine, according to police.
Pritchett faces charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property, and trafficking of Class B drugs.
Hardy and Barrows, who were in the apartment during the raid, were charged with unlawful possession of a machine gun, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, and related offenses.
All three suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
