BROCKTON — Brockton Police officers conducted a routine traffic stop on Saturday that led to the discovery of two unregistered firearms and the arrest of two individuals on weapons charges.
During the stop, officers found an unregistered Beretta PX4 Storm loaded with ten rounds of ammunition and a Taurus .38 Special with four rounds.
Neither Daunte France, a 21-year-old from Fall River, nor the accompanying 17-year-old from New Bedford had the necessary licenses to carry the recovered weapons.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The seizure of these dangerous firearms by the Brockton Police has potentially thwarted a future tragedy and has contributed to the continued safety of the community.
