TEWKSBURY — Tewksbury Police are on the lookout for Andrew Mcinnes, 40, of Derry, who is wanted on a warrant for allegedly breaking into Trull Brook Golf Club and stealing property.
Police Chief Ryan Columbus said the department is actively seeking Mcinnes on charges of breaking and entering into a building in the nighttime, larceny from a building, and willful and malicious destruction of property.
The incident occurred early Monday, Nov. 25, around 2 a.m., when officers responded to an alarm at the Trull Brook Golf Course, located at 170 River Road.
Upon arrival, they discovered a glass door to the pro shop had been shattered and the shop had been ransacked.
Missing items included several sleeves of golf balls and gift cards.
A thorough investigation ensued, involving a review of surveillance footage and collaboration with the Lowell Police, Derry N.H.
Police, Massachusetts State Police, and Salem N.H. Police, leading to the identification of Mcinnes as the suspect.
During the investigation, police recovered several sleeves of golf balls and gift cards from the Trull Brook Pro Shop.
A warrant for Mcinnes’s arrest was issued by Lowell District Court and remains active.
