DANVILLE — A 70-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly pointing a firearm at his neighbor during a dispute.
State troopers from the Saint Johnsbury Barracks were called to a residence on Hill Street at 5:26 a.m., where they learned Stephen John had pointed a gun at 67-year-old Lisa Draper, according to police.
John was taken into custody without incident, processed and arraigned at the Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
He was released with conditions following his arraignment.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released details on what led to the dispute or the conditions of John’s release.
