SPRINGFIELD — A juvenile was taken into custody on Nov. 16 after allegedly stealing a vehicle from a local business parking garage, according to the Springfield Police Department.
The incident, reported at approximately 1:40 p.m., prompted an investigation by Officers Callahan and Singleton, along with Corporal Perkins.
The vehicle was recovered within the town a few hours later, at 4:02 p.m.
The unnamed juvenile is facing charges of operating without owner’s consent and grand larceny.
They have been issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Family Division, Windsor Unit in Woodstock.
