BRIGHTON — Vermont State Police responded to a report of illegal dispensing of cannabis to a minor on Cross Street at about 8:02 p.m. on Nov. 21.
During the investigation, authorities determined that Seth Pfaff, 25, of Brighton, had given a food product containing marijuana to a 15-year-old coworker without the juvenile’s knowledge or consent.
Pfaff was subsequently cited to appear in Essex Superior Court on charges of dispensing cannabis to a person under 21 years of age.
The Vermont State Police continue to investigate the incident and remind the public that providing marijuana to minors is a prosecutable offense.
Pfaff is scheduled to appear in court to face the charges.
