1 min read

FAIRFAX — A Jeffersonville man walked away unharmed from a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning amid snowy conditions.

At approximately 1:05 a.m., Vermont State Police responded to a crash involving a 2011 Toyota Tundra at the intersection of Toof Road and VT Route 104.

The driver, identified as 45-year-old Philip Desposito, was found to be unharmed and had been wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The vehicle sustained significant front-end damage after veering off the road and coming to rest in a nearby field.

While the crash resulted in no injuries, the snowy weather conditions appear to have contributed to the incident.

Fairfax Fire, Fairfax Rescue, and Notch Road Auto Repair assisted state troopers at the scene.

The Vermont State Police are conducting a preliminary investigation into the crash but have not released further details at this time.
