Rutland crash on Rt 68 leaves vehicles damaged

RUTLAND — Police officers responded to a two-vehicle crash this morning on Rt 68 at Davis Street where one vehicle rear-ended another that was attempting to turn.

Authorities arrived at the scene to find both vehicles with significant damage.

Emergency services assessed all parties involved and determined that there were no injuries.

The incident caused temporary traffic delays as crews worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the collision.

Police have not released the identities of the drivers involved and the investigation is ongoing.
