FITCHBURG — The Fitchburg Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating 13-year-old William De Souza, who has been missing since Nov. 27.
De Souza, a Hispanic male with short brown hair and brown eyes, is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds with a skinny build.
He was last seen leaving his residential program house on Clarendon Street on foot, wearing black sweatpants, a black sweater, and black sneakers.
Authorities believe he may be accompanied by another juvenile, Jeremiah Cruz-Nieves, and that the pair could be trying to return to the Worcester area.
However, they are without transportation and proper shelter amidst the extreme temperatures.
