ROCKLAND — Rockland Police apprehended a 51-year-old Rockport man on new drug trafficking charges during a court-mandated bail check.

At around 5 p.m. on Nov. 27, officers conducted the check on Jason Winslow, who had been out on bail after a Nov. 24 arrest.

Winslow had previously been charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and possession of a loaded AR-15 rifle in a vehicle.

He was released upon posting $30,000 cash bail the same night of his initial arrest.

During the recent check at the police department, authorities discovered over 20 grams of suspected crack cocaine.

Winslow was subsequently arrested on fresh charges, including felony trafficking in scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.

Winslow is currently being held at the Knox County Jail pending further proceedings.
