Richford business reports trailer theft, police seek information

RICHFORD — A trailer was reported stolen from Stairs Unlimited in Richford, prompting an investigation by the Vermont State Police.

The theft occurred on Nov. 7 at approximately 8:30 p.m. A 2013 fifteen-foot Sure Trac trailer, which did not have a registration plate, went missing from the company’s property on Jay Road.

Authorities released two photographs of the suspects and their vehicle, which has been described as a maroon Dodge Ram, based on eyewitness accounts.

The Vermont State Police are seeking assistance from the public to track down 35-year-old Brian Corwell Jr. of Enosburg, who has been accused in connection with the theft.
