Bethel man faces DUI #3 charge after traffic stop

BETHEL — A routine traffic stop on Route 107 led to the arrest of a local man on suspicion of driving under the influence for the third time, Vermont State Police said.

Arthur White, 60, was pulled over by troopers from the Royalton Barracks around 9:40 p.m. for a motor vehicle violation.

During the stop, authorities suspected White was intoxicated.

Following an investigation, White was arrested and charged with his third DUI offense.

He was taken to the Royalton Barracks for processing.

White, a Bethel resident, was released with a citation to appear in court on Dec. 17.
