Police looking for missing man in Bolton

BOLTON — Vermont State Police are searching for a missing man last heard from on Nov. 2, and are seeking the public’s assistance.

Robert Painter, born on Dec. 24, 1995, was reported missing by his uncle on the evening of Nov. 25 after losing contact with him for nearly three weeks.

Painter, who lives out of his vehicle, has been identified as suffering from mental health issues.

Officials say Painter may be driving a silver 2017 Chevy Cruze with Vermont license plate KHW215.

Authorities have circulated a photograph of Painter to aid in the search.

The Vermont State Police are urging anyone with information on Painter’s whereabouts to call the Williston Barracks at 802-878-7111.

The investigation is currently active, and further details will be released as they emerge.
