SALEM — A single-vehicle crash on an Interstate 93 offramp claimed the lives of three people today.
At 2:02 p.m., New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop B barracks were called to the scene at the Exit 2 offramp from I-93 southbound.
The accident involved a 2012 white Kia Sportage, which veered off the right side of the ramp, traveled through the grass, and struck a culvert before coming to a halt.
The driver, Rodney J. Dore, 71, and two passengers, Anne J. Dore, 70, both from Pelham, and Lisana M. Alexander, 45, from Salem, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency personnel from the Salem Fire Department, Salem Police Department, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation arrived to assist the State Police.
The offramp was partially closed for the investigation but is anticipated to reopen by 6 p.m.
State Police are actively investigating the crash.
