NORTHFIELD — A local woman has been accused of taking a vehicle and a phone without the owner’s consent, leading to charges of larceny and operating without the owner’s consent, according to the Northfield Police Department.
Corporal Michael R. Gero reported that the department received a call at 2:47 p.m. on Nov. 24 regarding the theft from Bull Run Road.
Casandra Rich, 31, of Hardwick, was identified as the suspect following an investigation that benefited from collaboration between multiple agencies.
Rich allegedly drove the stolen vehicle to Hardwick after taking it from Northfield.
She is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court on Jan. 2 to face charges relating to the incident.
