Woman escapes injury in I-91 crash near Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — A single-vehicle crash on I-91 left a Jeep Cherokee totaled, but the driver walked away without injuries on Nov. 25.

Evangaline Page, 23, of Newport, was traveling south when her 2015 Jeep veered off the road at Mile Marker 138.8, striking a guardrail before coming to rest in the median.

The Vermont State Police St Johnsbury Barracks responded to the scene, where clear skies and dry road conditions were reported.

Despite the total loss of the vehicle, no injuries were sustained by Page.

Local fire and EMS personnel provided assistance during the incident.

No other vehicles were involved.
