Eden man arrested for burglary, accused of stealing large sum of money

EDEN — Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to a reported burglary on Valley View Drive in Eden at 2:06 p.m. on Nov. 20.

The suspect, identified as Mark Creedy, 34, with no known residence, had fled the scene before authorities arrived.

According to the investigation, Creedy forcibly entered the home of William Reen and Krysta Luzietti and stole a large amount of U.S. currency.

Creedy was apprehended on Nov. 22 for a separate burglary offense and was subsequently lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility.

He has been issued conditions of release and is scheduled to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court to face charges related to the Eden burglary.
