WEATHERSFIELD — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Springfield man on an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire, Vermont State Police said.
At 6:42 p.m. on Nov. 22, troopers were conducting traffic enforcement on VT Route 106 when they stopped a vehicle with defective equipment.
During the stop, a passenger in the vehicle was identified as 25-year-old Joshua York of Springfield.
York was taken into custody without incident after troopers discovered he had an outstanding warrant.
He was transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
Following his arrest, York was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail.
He was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on Nov. 25 at 12:30 p.m.
