FALL RIVER — Officers from the Fall River Police Department were dispatched to a reported disturbance involving a stabbing on Platt Street around 10 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, law enforcement personnel found an individual with stab wounds.
The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive the injuries sustained.
The police investigation, which involved the Patrol Bureau and Major Case Division, concluded the incident was domestic in nature.
An arrest has been made in connection with the stabbing.
