WINDSOR LOCKS — Windsor Locks Police Department arrested a couple on Oct. 11 for risk of injury to a minor and drug charges after a response to assist the Department of Children and Families at Bradley Inn on Sept. 4.

Police and DCF were investigating Samantha Levesque, 39, and Robert Gravelle, 43, who were found with their young child in a hotel room at the Bradley Inn located at 5 Ella Grasso.

The child was removed from the parents due to the presence of drugs and the living conditions were deemed deplorable by authorities.

Levesque tested positive for cocaine and methamphetamine, and the child, once hospitalized, was discovered to have cocaine and fentanyl in its bloodstream.

Both Levesque and Gravelle, who have no certain address, were charged by warrant with risk of injury to a child, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.

The Windsor Locks Blight officer and a representative from the Building Department took enforcement actions in response to the conditions at the inn.

Due to the involvement of a juvenile, details about the victim are restricted.

The case is set to go to court on Nov. 25.

Following the incident, the Windsor Locks Police Department, in collaboration with law enforcement partners, conducted an undercover operation targeting criminal activity.
