WORCESTER — Worcester Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect involved in a shooting incident near City Hall on Nov. 6.
At around 10:30 a.m., officers were called to the vicinity of City Hall on Main Street following reports of gunfire.
An altercation involving three males erupted in the rear of City Hall near the Common, during which one individual produced a firearm and discharged several rounds before fleeing the area.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries following the incident.
The Worcester Police Detective Bureau is actively investigating the case and has requested that anyone with information come forward.
Members of the public with knowledge of the incident or the identity of the male suspect are encouraged to send an anonymous text to 274637 with the prefix TIPWPD followed by their message, or to submit an anonymous web-based message at worcesterma.gov/police.

The department underscores the importance of community assistance in resolving this case and stresses that all tips can be submitted anonymously.
