LOWELL — The Lowell Police Department is reaching out to residents of the Lower Highlands neighborhood to assist in an investigation involving multiple break-ins to motor vehicles (B&E’s to MVs) reported last night.
Authorities are urging locals, especially those living near the lower Westford St corridor, to review their video surveillance footage for any signs of suspicious activity or attempted car break-ins.
The department believes there may be additional incidents that have not yet been reported.
Residents who notice anything out of the ordinary, such as someone attempting to open car doors, are encouraged to contact the police.
Even minor actions like lifting the handle of a locked vehicle are considered criminal and should be reported.
Community members with information or surveillance video are asked to call the Lowell Police Department at 978-937-3200.
Video footage can also be sent via email to [email protected].
