MONTVILLE — The Montville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Shannon Shields, a silver alert/missing person.
Shields, born on March 31, 1972, has been missing since she left her home on Route 32 on Nov. 8.
Shields was last seen between 2 and 3 p.m. on the day she disappeared.
She was wearing blue jeans, a pink shirt, and a black leather jacket.
Authorities have emphasized that Shields suffers from mental health issues, which may add to the urgency of finding her.
Known to frequently use the Seat Bus as her primary mode of transportation, Shields does not own a cell phone, potentially complicating search efforts.
The Montville Police Department is urging anyone with information about Shields’ whereabouts, or those who might have seen her since her disappearance, to immediately contact them at 860-848-7510.
