Fall River police seize cocaine, arrest one in drug bust

FALL RIVER — Detective Christopher Teves and other members of the Fall River Police Community Action Suppression Team executed a search warrant on June 11 at a local residence, resulting in the seizure of drugs and the arrest of a 46-year-old man.

The search at 1102 Dwelly Street led to the discovery of approximately 30.62 grams of cocaine, a small amount of fentanyl, Psilocybin mushrooms, and $1,258 in cash.

Authorities also found Clonazepam pills in the possession of Amanda Alves, a resident of the address.

Damien Brooks, identified as the focus of the investigation, faces multiple drug-related charges including trafficking cocaine between 18 to 36 grams, possession of a Class A drug (subsequent offense), and possession of a Class C drug (subsequent offense).

Alves has been summoned for possession of a Class C drug.
