Highgate theft of white Dodge Ram sparks police investigation

HIGHGATE — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a white 197 Dodge Ram 3500 that was reported stolen early Wednesday morning from a residence on Gore Road.

Troopers were called to the scene at approximately 6:59 a.m. after the owner discovered the vehicle missing.

The initial investigation indicates the truck was taken at around 1:30 a.m.

Authorities have released two photographs of the stolen vehicle to aid in its recovery and are asking for the public’s assistance.

Anyone with information related to the theft is urged to contact Trooper Matthew Conte at the St. Albans Barracks.
