IRASBURG — A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of VT Route 58 and VT Route 14 on Nov. 5 at 5:34 p.m., with both drivers escaping unharmed, according to the Vermont State Police.

Rebecca Coax, 52, of Burlington, was driving her 2019 Toyota Corolla south on VT Route 14 when Laura Audette, 48, of Calais, who was at the stop sign on VT Route 58 in a 2018 Toyota Tacoma, failed to yield the right of way.

Coax’s vehicle struck the rear end of Audette’s truck causing damage to the front bumper and headlight of the Corolla, and to the rear quarter panel and bumper of the Tacoma.

Both Coax and Audette were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.

The weather was clear and road conditions were dry, which may have contributed to the lack of injuries.

No hospitalizations were required for either party involved in the collision.
