South Windsor police seek information on car vs. pedestrian accident

SOUTH WINDSOR — South Windsor Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in gathering details about a vehicle versus pedestrian collision that took place on Oct. 25 at 12:43 p.m. at the intersection of Ayers Road and Graham Road.

According to authorities, the pedestrian sustained minor injuries when struck by a grey Toyota or Honda.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly stopped to check on the pedestrian’s condition but left the scene without alerting the police.

The incident was not reported to South Windsor Police until several days later.

Officer Gary, badge number 220, is handling the investigation and urges anyone with information related to the accident to come forward.

Witnesses or individuals with knowledge of the event are encouraged to contact Officer Gary at 860-644-2551.

The South Windsor Police Department emphasizes the importance of reporting such incidents promptly to ensure the safety of the community and to facilitate a thorough investigation.
