Springfield man arrested on outstanding warrant

SPRINGFIELD — A Springfield man was taken into custody on an in-state arrest warrant after being located at a residence on Giddings Street, according to a press release from the Springfield Police Department.

David Aspen was arrested on Oct. 29 at 9:27 a.m. by officers Singleton, Guzzo, and Woodell without incident.

The defendant was known to have an active warrant and was promptly transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing following the arrest.

Aspen was later transferred to the Windsor County Criminal Court by the Windsor County Sheriff’s Office to respond to the charge.
