Vernon man arrested for violating abuse prevention order, conditions of release

VERNON — On the night of Nov. 1, Vermont State Police arrested 24-year-old Tanner Corbeil for allegedly violating an Abuse Prevention Order and his conditions of release.

Troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to a call on Old Depot Road at about 9:40 p.m. where they investigated and subsequently determined that Corbeil had breached the terms of the order and his release conditions.

Following his arrest, Corbeil was taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

He was issued a criminal citation and is due to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Nov. 4 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.

The Vermont State Police has not released any information regarding the victim in compliance with policies protecting victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.
