NEW HAVEN — A collision involving two vehicles occurred on Main Street (VT Route 17) at the intersection of Town Hill Rd on Nov. 1 at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Griffin Perry, 26, of Bristol, was driving a 2008 Subaru Outback westbound on Main Street as Ashley Tetreault, 29, also of Bristol, was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla in the opposite direction.

Perry, who had paused to allow a pedestrian to cross, initiated a left turn onto Town Hill Rd and collided with Tetreault’s vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident, and despite extensive front-end damage to both vehicles, there were no injuries reported.

No one was transported to the hospital.

Following the crash, Main Street was temporarily closed, but has since been reopened.

The Vermont State Police, New Haven Fire Department, and Bristol Rescue Squad Inc. responded to the scene.
